Construction Trades Class (NCCT)

NCCT is a program which offers training for work in construction trades. The program has a class just for students in Grades 10 - 12.  The class is free and construction jobs are excellent careers as well as lucrative summer jobs for students!

  • High School students do NOT need a Driver's License to participate in the program.

  • Students who attend a full semester at the NCCT program will earn 5 Career Tech Ed (elective) credits.

  • Regular attendance will be important as the skills are primarily hands-on.  Students will learn technical skills and will be introduced to employers in the area.

  • The class meets Tuesdays from 12:30 to 2:30pm

  • 6187 Pleasant Valley Road.

Interested in taking the class? We have a NEW contact.  Email akil@ncctinc.org

Physical Education

We are adjusting our graduation requirement and PE will not be a requirement of graduation.  Instead, an online Fitness course will be offered as an elective. If your student is scheduled to take PE this year, but would like to drop the Fitness class, please let us know.  You can email us at cuprep@edcoe.org or cca@edcoe.org so that we can adjust their schedule.

Work Permits and Work Experience Class

Have a job? Want a job? An important reminder that students who have a job MUST HAVE A WORK PERMIT, and it needs to be renewed each school year. Applications are available on the school website under “Student Resources”. You can also come by the office or see Mr. Aiston. Email Mr. Aiston for details, questions and application (eaiston@edcoe.org)

If you have a job and want to earn academic credit, contact Mr. Aiston, the coordinator for the Work Experience program. The class meets on Wednesdays at 2:10pm. It’s a great way to both learn more about the work world and earn credits while you’re earning money! Email Mr. Aiston for more information (eaiston@edcoe.org)
